When is the next big car rental chain coming to Pittsburgh?
The Pittsburgh Steelers are hoping to attract a new car rental business to the city.
The Steelers have hired Scott Seltzer to be the team’s Vice President of Car Rental.
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported on Wednesday that Seltz will oversee the teams automotive leasing program.
He joins the team as the franchises Vice President for Commercial, Retail and Consumer Sales.
The Steelers announced earlier this month that they had hired former McDonalds franchisee and current president of Ford Global Operations Joe Mullin.
McNin, who has been with the franchise since 2009, will oversee Fords Ford Global Sales, Operations and Marketing.
Seltzer will serve as the teams senior vice president of operations and brand, the team announced.
Seltz is the second new face at FordGlobal.
The company announced in April that it had hired Jason Kilar to be its Vice President and Brand Development.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been searching for a car rental franchise for some time, as the NFL franchise has struggled with car rental traffic growth.
More recently, Ford has been rumored to be looking to expand into Pittsburgh, as it continues to focus on the expansion of its franchise in Indianapolis.
